Megech Dam Construction Project

Megech Dam Construction Project, which is located around Teda town of the North Gondar Zone of the Amhara National Regional State, was launched in Nov. 2006 E.C at a cost of over 5.6 billion birrs.The dam has a height of 78 meters and a length of 890 meters with a capacity of holding 185 million cubic meters of water at a time that can cultivate 17,000 hectares of land.
