A National Milestone. Turning Commitments into Delivery.

Date: Apr 8, 2026

ECWC has successfully constructed and delivered the Tendaho Dam and Irrigation Scheme Rehabilitation Project — now officially inaugurated at the highest level of government.

The inauguration was led by H.E. Temesgen Tiruneh, Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia, alongside H.E. Abraham Belay, Minister of Irrigation and Lowland Areas, and H.E. Haji Awol Arba, President of the Afar Region, together with senior federal and regional officials.

Project Highlights: 40 km canal rehabilitation | 15 km flood protection works | modern electro-mechanical water control systems

The project has unlocked 33,000 hectares for development, with 23,000 hectares already under cultivation — enabling farmers to produce up to three times a year and transition into market suppliers.

We are proud to have received Provisional Acceptance from the Engineer, reinforcing quality delivery and strengthening client trust.

This milestone is part of ECWC’s broader turnaround — a disciplined shift toward execution, accountability, and results — where commitments are being translated into tangible delivery, confidence is being restored, and client trust is being earned project by project.

Another major infrastructure delivered.
Another commitment honored.
Another step forward for ECWC.

Leadership makes the greatest impact when it is present on the ground.

Date: Apr 8, 2026

Our Senior Management Team recently visited ECWC–GIW Factory, one of ECWC’s subsidiary manufacturing facilities, to engage directly with the team and review the factory’s operational performance.

The visit created a valuable space to reflect on achievements, openly discuss challenges, and align on the factory’s next phase of growth. ECWC–GIW continues to play an important role in supporting ECWC projects through the production of PVC, HDPE, and PPR pipes, as well as geomembrane solutions.

At ECWC, a strong connection between leadership and operational teams is essential. It strengthens collaboration, improves performance, and reinforces the role of our Related Businesses, which complement our core construction operations and contribute to building a more sustainable and resilient organization.
